Dear Momma,

We are nearing another holiday season and as always, my mind turns to you and your family. My boys had fun on Halloween, Gavyn dressed as Superman. Would your boy have gone trick or treating? Would he have had a funny joke? Or perhaps he would have been too old now. Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and in my heart, I will thank the Lord for your families prayers while I remember your loss. I feel your loss deeply each year. I was asked to speak at my church close to Christmas time. I’m going to share the story of your son and mine. How our lives were intermingled that Christmas season and how Jesus is still bringing hope to the world even through tragedy. I pray I honor you and him well. Hold fast to hope, Momma during these holidays.
